QUEEN OF ALOE VERA
HER PLANTS BLOOM IN THE LIGHT OF HER DESERT LOVE
She clips her morning harvest
splits open for the gelatinous flesh
adds it to smoothies
applies it to open wounds
(it has healing properties her curendara her/itage knows..
She has been exposed to the secrets of medicinal plants
Wisdom older than time-stopped deserts
where no drop of water is not captured in cactus and in aloe
where no story is not shared in the heated afternoons and star nights
where ancestors whisper darker secrets by moonlight,silent by day
and speak only in service to Greater Mysteries
where healing remains.Why aloe stays.
