The British Afro-pop group "Osibisa" was founded in London in 1969 by four Ghanaian immigrant musicians and three musicians who had their roots in the Caribbean. Self is Gregg Kofi Brown indeed more than a good singer, something he on this album include sounds in songs like "Chasing Rainbows", "Open Up My Arms" and "Shadow" (see video) here in a 6 minute 'dance mix' is introduced. The song "All The Way For You," "Tender Eyes", "Freedom's Ring" and "Summer Rain" we are offered here in an "unplugged" version in which the vocal qualities of this man be put in extra dividends.
As Gregg Kofi Brown to date with "Together As One" has only released one solo album in 2005, these 17 tracks from the album "Rock'N'Roll And UFOs" definitely a must for music lovers who are in career and want to deepen the work of the Ghanaian top musician. For all the others, this plate can do more as a pleasant introduction service and provide the necessary musical enjoyment. Finally, we also want to mention that he has released an autobiography in a book about this time under the same title as the album. Lots of nice stories there will certainly be addressed on all kinds of events in his long musical career.

GREGG KOFI BROWN – ROCK’N’ROLL AND UFO’S
The Very Best Of Osibisa”.

...BECAUSE SOME OF US THINK THAT THIS STUFF IS IMPORTANT
What happens when you mix what is - arguably - the world's most interesting record company, with an anarchist manic-depressive rock music historian polymath, and a method of dissemination which means that a daily rock-music magazine can be almost instantaneous?

Most of this blog is related in some way to the music, books and films produced by Gonzo Multimedia, but the editor has a grasshopper mind and so also writes about all sorts of cultural issues which interest him, and which he hopes will interest you as well.
