THOM THE WORLD POET: The Daily Poem

"Thom the World poet is an old mate of mine from way back in my history. Even pre-dating Voiceprint, when I was running "Otter Songs" and Tom's poetry tapes and guest appearances with Daevid Allen, Gilli Smyth and Mother Gong are well known and highly regarded. It just felt right to include a daily poem from Thom on our Gonzo blog and when I approached him to do so, he replied within seconds!!! Thom is a great talent and just wants to spread poetry, light and positive energy across the globe. If we at Gonzo can help him do that - why not?"

WHO OWNS STORIES?

Our primary myth is Jesus.Crucified/Resurrected.

Above his tomb is the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.

Three religions claim interests in maintaining that historical site-

Roman Catholics,Orthodox Greeks and Armenians.They do not agree.

Hence no real upkeep since 1810.In 2008,Greek Orthodox and Armenians brawled.

In 2015,Israeli police shut the building after Israel's Antiquities Authority

declared it unsafe.Soon,necessary repairs will replace broken mortar

and columns will be strengthened.This will take a year to complete.

Meanwhile pilgrims can still pray at the site.Meanwhile,three authorities

find themselves subordinate to a superior authority-the occupation of Myth.
