"Thom the World poet is an old mate of mine from way back in my history. Even pre-dating Voiceprint, when I was running "Otter Songs" and Tom's poetry tapes and guest appearances with Daevid Allen, Gilli Smyth and Mother Gong are well known and highly regarded. It just felt right to include a daily poem from Thom on our Gonzo blog and when I approached him to do so, he replied within seconds!!! Thom is a great talent and just wants to spread poetry, light and positive energy across the globe. If we at Gonzo can help him do that - why not?"

BOTH USED THE TERM ELDRITCH

in quite divergent contexts

H P Lovecraft dealt in otherworldly faerie forms

C S Lewis a Christian traditionalist

Context is everything-to know what words mean

when their meaning lies in context

Now both H P LOVECRAFT&C S LEWIS

have left the building-but we are still stuck

for uses and contexts and meaning

when seeking to explain and communicate

about all the other worlds we are aware of

The arcane world of Capitol Metro vs bike lanes

SUVs vs bicycles,Buses vs trains

Trains vs planes-all these different planes of existence

are part and parcel of ELDRITCH-but none of these

fill all of it...Every OTHERWORLD is ELDRITCH

And that is where we live..
