THOM THE WORLD POET: The Daily Poem

Rob Ayling, yer Gonzo Grande Fromage, writes: 

"Thom the World poet is an old mate of mine from way back in my history. Even pre-dating Voiceprint, when I was running "Otter Songs" and Tom's poetry tapes and guest appearances with Daevid Allen, Gilli Smyth and Mother Gong are well known and highly regarded. It just felt right to include a daily poem from Thom on our Gonzo blog and when I approached him to do so, he replied within seconds!!! Thom is a great talent and just wants to spread poetry, light and positive energy across the globe. If we at Gonzo can help him do that - why not?"

 TIME CAPSULE
IN THE FUTURE,METAL DETECTORS
will also be able to seek and find organic materials
like flesh and meat ,blood and bone fragments
So if a famed exquisite corpse
could be buried like some Treasure Chest
the puzzle might become an El Dorado
a Lassiter's Last Ride,a Golden Reef
whereby folk seek some meaning in an Ancient Text
buried in a cylinder like some Dead Sea Scrolls
History  must wait for future Rolls.Each day,a new page
in the Book of Kells..Centuries await /a new stage?
or a replay of Dynasties/scripts written long before us
Nostradamus  Trump Armageddon Clinton
Read in to the stories what ye will
Time is only what it takes ,until...
