IONA NEWS

HI Everyone,

It's just over a week before Dave Bainbridge will be back on the road playing some Iona music in his 'An Evening of Iona Music and More' duo dates with the multi-talented Sally Minnear. This is a chance to see and hear some great music in an intimate setting and we've been thrilled at the audience response to Dave and Sally's gigs so far.

And in less that 3 months we have a few more Celestial Fire band gigs, featuring the same stellar line up as on last year's dates (Sally Minnear, Iona's own Frank van Essen, Dave Brons, Simon Fitzpatrick and Dave Bainbridge). Later in the year we hope to release a Celestial Fire live DVD, recorded at last October's concert in York. On the forthcoming dates the band will be including some music from Iona's 2006 Circling Hour album that has never before been played live!
