Even pre-dating Voiceprint, when I was running "Otter Songs" and Tom's poetry tapes and guest appearances with Daevid Allen, Gilli Smyth, Mother Gong are well known and highly regarded. It just felt right to include a daily poem from Thom on our Gonzo blog and when I approached him to do so, he replied with in seconds!!! Thom is a great talent and just wants to spread poetry, light and positive energy across the globe. If we at Gonzo can help him do that - why not? why not indeed!!" LIGHTING VIA LIGHTNING
Storm in a tempest teacup./drops in a coffee can
Drama
black night with only splotches by morning light
All
day the muggy tension stressed pressure skies
Night
clouds gathered like demonstrators stopped ,compressed
Then white jagged
lines knifed high to ground/split black
into
digital time.Relief.Release.Purse strings of skies tight still.
Street
lights tiny perspective in this throwback in time
Pre-us,cave
age would stare at angry skies
try
to club the stars into light fires.We geo-engineer/seed clouds
Still
ask why what is above us has power to determine our moods
Awake
now,seek Facebook ,blog,newspaper commentary or TV tube
to
explain what our body experiences-our eyes witness-old /new..
