GENRE PEAK: Blue Filter

I was out all evening giving a lecture for those jolly nice people at 'Friends of Appledore Library', and you know what it is like when you have a tune going round your head? Well, all evening I have had this one from Genre Peak and being a terribly lazy journalist, rather than try and explain what it sounded like, I thought that it would be easier to just show you...

In the meantime check out his page at the Gonzo website, where you can read his biography, and buy the new album...

  1. This track is a remix featuring Percy Howard (Meridiem/Bill Laswell) on vocals with Canadian singer/songwriter Tara C. Taylor on backing vox. Words and Music by Martin Birke, produced by Christopher Scott Cooper.

...BECAUSE SOME OF US THINK THAT THIS STUFF IS IMPORTANT
What happens when you mix what is - arguably - the world's most interesting record company, with an anarchist manic-depressive rock music historian polymath, and a method of dissemination which means that a daily rock-music magazine can be almost instantaneous?

Most of this blog is related in some way to the music, books and films produced by Gonzo Multimedia, but the editor has a grasshopper mind and so also writes about all sorts of cultural issues which interest him, and which he hopes will interest you as well.
